This place is just opened and we were staying next door so we decided to check it out for a fun date night. I can’t stress how amazing our experience was 12/10! They started us off with amazing brioche bread with an assortment of 4 sauces. For our starter we split the potato leek soup and without asking, the staff split the soup into two bowls. For our mains, we had the steak sampler which included 2 cuts of meat: the tenderloin & the ribeye. Both were cooked to perfection, medium rare, and sliced & served table side, along with 4 different and unique salts. There’s a wide assortment of steaks & cuts including wagyu, porterhouse, tomahawk. We also got 2 sides: the mashed potatoes & Mexican corn elote. We were absolutely stuffed despite only finishing 2/3rds of our meal. Given how full we were, there was no room for desert but the options looked top shelf for the desert lovers out there. Finally, they offered us complimentary ice cream to close out a beautiful evening. This is unequivocally my new favourite steakhouse in the world!A few extra things to note, the prices were beyond reasonable (our meal was under US$200 before tip) and the decor, landscaping, and ambience was incredible. This was exactly the vibe we were looking for for a nice date night but the restaurant is actually huge and offers a wide assortment of table sizes and settings (indoor, outdoor patio, bar, etc). Lastly, the staff were very attentive and gracious. We were told that the owner and all the staff are Mexican so it was nice.
Imagine this....4 ladies, dressed up for a fun Friday night out at a new restaurant in town. We arrived for an early reservation at 6:30pm and were sat at a nice table in the main part of the restaurant. The place is absolutely beautiful! Stunning actually! Our waiter was very attentive and friendly from start to finish. We started off with co*cktails which were good and then we moved on to the wine. By this time it is around 7:15pm at the beginning of a busy weekend. All 4 of us ordered from the main menu (there are 2 menus - one is the main menu and the second is the 'high-priced' meat cuts). 20 minutes after ordering our waiter returns to tell us that they are out of ALL of the steaks we ordered and a few of the side dishes including French onion soup because they were out of onions. Wow! What this forced us to do was order from the high-priced menu - a scam? maybe or maybe just a complete lack of inventory control. But it was absolutely unbelievable that a steakhouse was out of steak. Our waiter was sorry and tried his best to make up for it but the damage was done. We were given a complimentary glass of wine but that was only after we asked for it. Not once did a manager approach to apologize which is truly shocking for what is touted as a high-end restaurant. We ate our second choices and the food was good but in reality we didn't eat what we really wanted. And for dessert....guess what? They were out of that too so we ordered our second choice and it was ok. Beauty is about all they have going for them right now, but I look forward to them hopefully stepping up their game for the future.*Service - 4 *Atmosphere/ambiance - 5 *Food - 3*Customer service - 3
I recently dined at this incredible restaurant that left me speechless. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service. The ambiance was enchanting, with soft lighting and tasteful decor that created an intimate and inviting atmosphere. The menu offered a delightful fusion of flavors, showcasing both creativity and expertise. Each dish was a work of art, beautifully presented and bursting with exquisite flavors. The attention to detail and quality of ingredients was evident in every bite. The knowledgeable staff guided me through the menu, offering expert recommendations and ensuring a truly memorable dining experience. Every aspect, from the service to the food, surpassed my expectations and left me longing to return. Best steak I’ve had! This restaurant is a true gem that deserves all the accolades it receives.

Prime Steak Club in San Miguel de Allende offers a mix of experiences, from stunning ambiance and impeccable service to occasional inventory issues. While some diners were impressed by the warm welcome, exquisite food presentation, and attentive staff, others faced disappointments like running out of menu items. A lovely experience overlooking a lush garden….a celebration of my friend’s Cumpleanos 🎉Irish Coffee ,Vino…. pie & Carrot Cake. Flavors so natural…service so Royal.Daniel and Lalo made everything welcoming and attentive. Thanks for the gracious time.
We visited Prime Steak Club as a group of four locals, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The ambiance of the restaurant is both elegant and welcoming, providing the perfect backdrop for our evening. The food was superb, with each dish cooked to perfection. The service was very attentive, friendly, and professional, making us feel truly valued. Whether you're a local or a visitor in San Miguel de Allende, I highly recommend dining there for an unforgettable meal. It‘s an upbeat place and we will be back soon!
