If I had to start Social Media Marketing for a client from scratch, I would follow these 10 steps.1. Know everything about the products or services of the client.2. Find out their goals through social media marketing.3. Understand their target audience in and out.4. Create a buyer persona (recommending Hubspot).5. Find out about some competitors and analyze their strategies.6. Optimize social media profiles7. Prepare a targeted and tailored content strategy.8. Create at least three content pillars.9. Create content according to the platform.10. What is your go to social media management/growth strategy?As we all know, it is not just about dumping posts and expecting to get engagement. it requires time, research and proper planning.Here's my way of doing it:1. Do your research on the target audience and competitors.2. Come up with a content plan, preferrably a calendar(6months minimum)3. Generate weekly or monthly content depending on the time at hand4. Use scheduling tools like meta, or hootsuite to pre-create posts(Find out your audience's most active times)5. Track using third party websites(metricool)6. For stories and reels(Facebok & Instagram) try daily creation.7.
